General Information
Beaver Creek is neighbour to Vail Resort and a great alternative for spending your time in the region. You'll find over 1800 acres of skiable terrain with an annual snowfall of over 7.8 meters, as well as 3 freestyle terrain parks and a halfpipe.
There's a decent variety of terrain and beginner/intermediate riders in particular are well taken care of with well groomed runs and beginner lifts. Don't forget that Beaver Creek is part of the Vail Resorts group which offers multi day lift tickets and season passes that allow riding at any of their resorts.

Lift Tickets
Beaver Creek offers 2 types of lift tickets:
Standard Lift Ticket - Available as a Single Day, Half-Day (starting from 12pm) or Multi-Day ticket (2 to 14 days). These tickets allow riding at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, and Heavenly.

Epic 7 Day Pass - Counts as 7 Single Day tickets. You may use your 7 days at any time throughout the season at Vail, Heavenly, Breckenridge, Northstar at Tahoe, Beaver Creek, Keystone or Arapahoe Basin.

Season Pass
Season passes are available in 2 types:
Epic Pass - Allows unlimited skiing at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Heavenly, Northstar-at-Tahoe and Arapahoe Basin.
Epic Local Pass - Cheaper than a standard 'Epic Pass' but has some restricted dates. You get unlimited skiing at Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin but the following blackout dates apply to Heavenly, Northstar at Tahoe, Vail and Beaver Creek.
Rough blackout days based on official blackouts for the 2011/12 season are:
- 11/25 - 11/26/2011
- 12/26-12/31/2011
- 1/14/2012
- 2/18-2/19/2012
We recommend purchasing any Epic Pass before early May to take advantage of early purchase discounts.

Beaver Creek is located in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, about 192 km (120 miles) from Denver. There is free local village transportation available within Beaver Creek, Bachelor Gulch, and Arrowhead village.
Airplane
The closest airport is Vail / Eagle County Airport which is about 30 minutes drive from Beaver Creek.

Bus / Airport Shuttle
Colorado Mountain Express - Operates transportation between Beaver Creek Ski Resort and Denver Airport, Aspen Airport or Vail/Eagle Country Airport

Beaver Creek Resort is located on 40 Village Road, Avon, CO 81620. It is located about 2 hours drive west of Denver, Colorado.

Unique Activities & Things to Do
Vilar Performing Arts Center - A large theatre located in the middle of the village. Features year round performances including dance, musicals and family shows.
Disco Skate Night - Most mondays throughout the winter season feature a disco light show and DJ at the Black Family Ice Rink.
Free Food - Guests get free hot chocolate at the top of Chair 6 (Centennial Express) at 9:30am and free cookies at the base of Centennial Express at 3pm every day! (editors note: Greatest idea ever! Nice job Beaver Creek!)

Events and Festivals
Cookie Competition - Roughly held around the end of November each year, the annual Cookie Competition is a fun event and a chance to sample some amazing cookies. Who doesn't love cookies?
Snowshoe Adventure Series - Held at varies dates throughout the season, the Snowshoe Adventure Series attracts first timers as well as world class snowshoers with a large prize pool, fun parties and giveaways.
Master Chef Classic - Held roughly during the end of January each year, the Master Chef Classic is a great event showcasing some of the world's best chefs with ticket purchase options for everything from wine tasting to catored world class dinners.
Talons Challenge - Roughly held at the end of February each year, the Talon Challenge features a fun downhill course with entry open to 1,500 participants!
