How to apply & requirements
France has 6 types of work permits available. You need to fit one of these types. Below is a brief outline of the types, if you require a more detailed look please see Work Visa Types.
Skills and Talents Permit
- Valid for 3 years
- You have a 'project' which participates in the economic development of France and/or your home country
'Salaried' / 'Temporary Worker' Permit
Only for specific professions in France
Employee on Assignment Permit
- Valid for 3 years
- You were employed for at least 3 months by a company based abroad and now have a job contract in France for the same company's group
Employee on Assignment Card
- Valid for 3 years
- Must be employed by a french company that is part of an international group and you must hold a senior management or high level executive role in the company with a slary greater or equal to $5000 euros.
Seasonal Worker Permit
- Allows 6 months of work over a period of 12 months
- For seasonal workers with a work contract longer than 3 months
Scientific Permit
Only for those who hold a master's degree or equivalent and wish to carry out research in France
Requirements
All of the above visas require a medical examinational report and endorsed employment contract.
